Short crust Daal kachori filled with moong daal cooked with spices,

Daal kachori

For dough: 

  1. *1kg REFINED  flour 
  2. *250gm refined oil 
  3. *10gm heeng. 
  4. *salt to taste 
  5. *water


METHOD:



  1. Mix all the ingredients and make a very soft dough. Keep the dough aside.

For stuffing:

Inhgredients 
  1. *oil 
  2. *moong daal (washed)
  3. *cloves 
  4. *salt 
  5. *heeng 
  6. *cashewnuts 
  7. *raisins


Method: 


  1. *heat oil in a wok
  2. *add cloves let it crackle
  3. *add heeng 
  4. *add water 
  5. *add moong daal and let cook daal while sauting.
  6. *boil till daal become fully cooked. 
  7. *take out from pan 
  8. *cool it 
  9. *stuff into dough 
  10. *deep fry 
And enjoy, with aloo bhaaji.

NOTE: WHILE DEEP FRYING,FIRST FRY ON VERY LOW FLAME, I CAN SAY LUKE WARM OIL, WHEN KATCHORI STARTS FLOATING INCREASE THE FLAME ON MODERATE HEAT.
