Daal kachori
For dough:
- *1kg REFINED flour
- *250gm refined oil
- *10gm heeng.
- *salt to taste
- *water
METHOD:
- Mix all the ingredients and make a very soft dough. Keep the dough aside.
For stuffing:
Inhgredients
- *oil
- *moong daal (washed)
- *cloves
- *salt
- *heeng
- *cashewnuts
- *raisins
Method:
- *heat oil in a wok
- *add cloves let it crackle
- *add heeng
- *add water
- *add moong daal and let cook daal while sauting.
- *boil till daal become fully cooked.
- *take out from pan
- *cool it
- *stuff into dough
- *deep fry
And enjoy, with aloo bhaaji.
NOTE: WHILE DEEP FRYING,FIRST FRY ON VERY LOW FLAME, I CAN SAY LUKE WARM OIL, WHEN KATCHORI STARTS FLOATING INCREASE THE FLAME ON MODERATE HEAT.
