Murg Malai Tikka

Today I'm going to share one of the exotic kebab preparation. Murg malai tikka πŸ‘🍑 is a mild flavour, creamy and juicy Indian Tandoor snack. 
It's well known and popular for amazing taste of cheese and mild spices. Murg Malai tikka can be seen easily in good menus... 

Do try this recipe at home.  If you don't have tandoor at home you can roast on open wood fire  or you can cook in OTG oven. 
MURG MALAI
( A creamy kebab made from the breasts of the chicken )
INGREDIENTS
12 Breasts of Chicken
40gm Ginger Garlic paste
5gm White Pepper Powder
Salt To Taste
Butter for basting
THE MERINADE
1 Egg
60gm Cheddar Cheese
8 Green chillies
20gm Coriander
160ml Cream
3gm Mace & Nutmeg powder
15gm Cornflour
PREPERATION
THE CHICKEN :
1.       Clean, remove the skin, debone and cut each brest into two.
2.       Add the ginger garlic past to the seasoning and rub the chicken pieces with the mixture.
3.       Keep aside for 15 minutes.
THE MARINATION :
1.       Break egg in a bowl. Grate cheese and mash.
2.       Remove stems, wash, slit,,deseed, and finely chop green chillies.
3.       Clean wash and finely chop coriander.
4.       Mix cheese, green chillies,coriander and the remaining ingredients with egg, whisk and rub the chicken pieces with the mixture.
5.       Keep aside for minimum 3 hours.You can keep aside for 18 hours, longer the hour better the taste.
THE OVEN: Preheat to 2750F
THE SKEWRING: 
1.       Skewer the chicken pieces an inch apart.
2.                Keep a tray underneath to collect the dripping.
COOKING
1.       Roast in moderate hot tandoor for approx 5 minutes.
2.       In a charcoal grill for about the same time.
3.       In a pre-heat oven for 6 minutes.
4.       Remove and hang the skewer to let the excess moisture drip off (approx 2-3 minutes),baste with butter again for 3 minutes.
